Finish 2017 Strong

There are four full working weeks left in 2017. 

 That’s 20 days, counting today, or fully 8% of this year’s work days.

 That’s plenty of time to close — and open — sales to finish the year out strong. 

 You really only need to use one tool to dramatically increase your sales between and the end of the year: the outbound, proactive telephone call. 

 We need to make some lists of people to call, and then we need to call them. That’s how hard this is. That’s the key to adding significantly more sales in the next 20 days. 

 Here are three handy lists of humans to (1) make, and (2) call: 

 Customers who almost bought something from you this year, but did not. 

Tom, I was just thinking about you, how are you doing on that product we discussed back in June? 

 Customers who have an outstanding quote or proposal from you.

Tom, just checking in as the year ends, I was thinking about you. Where are you at on that quote we discussed? I know it’s been a while, do you need some more of that product? 

 Customers who you haven’t talked to in six months of more. 

Tom, I was just thinking about you and wanted to check in as the year winds down. How are you doing? How’s your family? What are you working on that I may be able to help you with? 

 Give me at least five people in each group. Ten is better, and twenty better still. 

 In these next 20 working days, call them. 

 You will find that they will be happy to hear from you. 

 You will find that they have forgotten what you talked about previously. 

 You will find that they will be interested in your help, because your help is very valuable to them. 

 And you will find that some of them will buy. 

 Four weeks to go.
