It’s Thanksgiving week in America, so let’s talk about gratitude.

 Let’s be grateful for our customers, who trust us, believe in us, and pay our bills. Let’s be grateful for the opportunity to improve their lives and companies. We get to help them look good to their customers. Because we do what we say, we help them sleep at night. How cool is that?! How lucky are we?!

 Let us be grateful for our prospects, who have not yet said yes. They are considering working with us, imagining what it would be like to buy from us. They’re busy, and yet they spend time with us, opening up about their hopes and fears. They are our future.

 Let’s be grateful for the deep relationships we get to have people. We get to learn about our customers’ and prospects’ families, their interests, and their dreams. In many cases, we get to be friends with our customers, and know them for years and decades. That’s amazing!

Finally, let us be grateful for the obstacles, the objections and rejections, and the difficult days also. Because they teach us. They challenge us. They force us to grow. Let us be grateful for these opportunities to improve, to stretch, to edit, and to perfect our approaches.

 Seriously, how great do we have it?!
