If you find yourself knowing you should do something in your personal or professional life, but are avoiding taking that action, the reason is almost always fear. Listen to my just-released podcast episode (10 minutes) on this dreaded 4-letter word that kills action, and, in turn, sales.

How does fear make us avoid taking action? In part, it makes us plan too much. We try to plan until it’s perfect. Of course, thanks to the fear, we will never feel like the plan is perfect, and so we never feel ready to start. The key to taking new action is to quickly plan and quickly do. Here’s a six-minute episode on quickly planning, and quickly doing.

Finally, a word on beliefs. Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” Our behaviors follow our beliefs and our mindset. Wake up in the morning and say to yourself that today will be a terrible day, it will be. Conversely, believe you’re going to have a great day, and you may well have a great day. Listen to this six-minute episode of Sell More Now about how our beliefs directly impact our sales performance.
