It has been my position all along in this blog that Apple is the only consumer electronics company that has evangelist consumers. People who live and breathe Apple. People who buy anything Apple makes, because Apple makes it (like a favorite author).

Well, Google may be joining Apple.

See what CNet’s Matt Asay has to say about “fanboys” — which is tech-speak for techies who are die-hard supporters of a manufacturer — usually Apple.

I hate the term, but “fanboys”  influence the mainstream consumers in their surroundings.
