Way back in 2002, Google CEO Eric Schmidt said this:

“Half of Google’s revenue comes from selling text-based ads that are placed near search results and are related to the topic of the search. Another half of its revenues come from licensing its search technology to companies like Yahoo.”

What can you license to others? Functionality, ideas, platforms, coding, results, etc.

Who do you view as a competitor that can actually benefit — and pay you — for what you do well?

Who already has the customers you are trying to attract, and what can you license to them?
