When I was a child, my family came to America with $20 and nothing else. Today I run a $3 million per year solo consulting practice, but the journey here has not been easy.
When I started doing this work, I was proposing (and getting rejected) for $7,500 projects.
Today, I sell large six-figure consulting projects on a monthly basis.
What did it take to get from there to here?
1) Thousands of failures.
Even today, I fail far more than I succeed.
Failures are necessary.
The failures allow you to learn, grow and get closer to success.
2) Studying.
Studying the mindsets, behaviours and techniques that would get me to where I wanted to go.
To achieve success we need to LEARN the right things to do to get it.
3) Faith in myself and my abilities.
This isn’t easy when battling a lot of rejection and failure.
But it is crucial to be the best you can be.
Believe in yourself and the immense value you can offer people.
4) Perseverance.
This is probably the most important.
When seven different prospects reject you, and you NEED the business, perseverance is what gets you to keep trying.
Those extra efforts drive results.
Whatever you’re doing, keep going.
