Making calls first will help you sell more, it’s all about eating your frog first thing in the morning…
What do I mean by that?
Mark Twain once said: “Eat a frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day”.
I discussed this with ??? Daniel Disney on The Daily Sales recently.
For many salespeople, making that first cold call is the hardest part of the day.
Making that call is your frog!
Once you’ve done that, all the other calls get easier.
There are many salespeople who avoid making that first call, and they lose a lot of time avoiding it.
In that time, their competitors might be phoning them.
Don’t wait.
Don’t avoid it.
Eat that frog.
Make that call.
Be the one who phones your customers.
Be the one who is proactive.
Make it the first thing you do and the rest of the day will flow.
Have you eaten your frog today?
