Winston Churchill said “success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.”

First, this is a rich, complex and profound observation on life in just 11 words. These are the words of a genius.

Second, Churchill’s statement applies totally and precisely to our work in the sales profession.

We move from failure (rejection) to failure, and the key is to continue trying.

To continue calling.

To continue asking.

To continue trying to help.

Without losing our enthusiasm.

The key in our work is to understand that if we’re not failing, we are not selling.

The failures get us to the wins.

The failures are requisite to attaining sales success.

Nobody experiences more rejection than people who sell.

Without hearing no a lot, we will simply not get to the yeses.

So that’s how we should all think about rejection:

Each one gets us closer to the next yes.

Keep your enthusiasm.

The yeses are coming.

NEW: Revenue Growth Mini Projects With Alex

For the last decade, if you weren’t in a position to do a full-length six-to-twelve month revenue growth project with me, I didn’t really have a way to work with you. Now, thanks to some “pandemic creativity” I have established the Revenue Growth Mini Project. These are designed for companies under $20M in annual sales. They consist of a 30-day launch period, where we create your workshop and teach your people remotely, over three one-hour workshops in a single week, as well as 30-day guided implementation periods, where your people do the work of systematically and proactively communicating with your customers and prospects. So far, clients have experienced immediate significant sales growth through these mini projects, although I cannot guarantee the 10-20% annual growth my full projects create. To discuss whether a mini project may be right for you, simply reply to this email or call me directly at 847-459-6322.
