Call a customer you don’t normally interact with.

“This is John calling from X Corp. I’m an owner [or VP, or manager] and I’m just reaching to make sure you’re pleased with our work and that we’re serving you well. Just wanted to say we really appreciate your business, and we value you as a customer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly if I can ever add value to your experience with us.”

It’s easy, fast, free, and incredibly effective at cementing relationships with customers. It’s so impressive to hear from management. The customer will be flattered, and she will feel important. The best part? A voice message is just as impactful as a live conversation.
