I coach and advise my clients to give me 15 minutes of marketing action per day. If you can do this, your business will have no choice but to grow. Most readily agree, and most start seeing sales go up immediately.

Some people, however, do their 15 minutes, but don’t select from the a la carte list of growth activities I’ve created specifically for them. They do other things, like “researching LinkedIn” or “improving their product.” Of course that doesn’t generate new business. These people aren’t communicating with anybody!

And this is the key to following my approaches successfully: effective growth marketing must be made up of communication activity. That is, I want you to tell somebody — a group of people, or even just one customer or prospect — about the value of your products or services.

If you want to grow, market by communicating your value. Better yet, let happy customers describe your value in their own words, but you better distribute their words to your lists. Execute the right communication action, and watch your revenues grow.
