Here is who you help when you offer additional products and services to your customers and prospects:

Your company.

Yourself.

Your family.

Your customers.

Your prospects.

Conversely here is who you hurt (which is different than not helping) when you do not offer additional products and services to customers and prospects:

Your company.

Yourself.

Your family.

Your customers.

Your prospects.

You are hurting customers and prospects because by not offering them more help and value, you are forcing them to go elsewhere when they do not want to. They don’t want to because you are better. They want to buy more from you. But when you aren’t in front of them, educating them on how else you can help, you are taking that away from them. This hurts them because then they need to go to lesser suppliers. And when they cannot buy more from you, it hurts your company, your family, and, of course, you. You work too hard to leave money on the table like this.

Help customers and prospects more, and allow them to help you and your family more.
