As some of you know, I lost 50 pounds last year. Pain due to a herniated disc in my back made me start a new diet. On the day I started eating differently, I said to my wife “Today, I will eat only fruits and vegetables.” And I did. The next day, powered by the success of the previous day, I did it again. And again the next day. I never said I was going try to lose to 50 pounds, or diet for four months. I went one day at a time, motivated by one success at a time.
It’s the same with marketing and revenue growth. Today, take one action that communicates your value to somebody who can buy it (communicate a testimonial, for example). Tomorrow, take another action (ask somebody if they know you also sell something they don’t currently buy from you). The next day, allow the energy of this successful action to move you to another one.
One communication at time, one day at a time, market your value to people who can pay you for it. This is how simple marketing is.
So, what will you do today?
