People often ask me what separates the best marketers from everyone else. Here’s my answer:
A confident mindset: The best marketers believe they are among the best in the world at what they do, and they market like it. They’re not timid. They’re not fearful. They simply know the world deserves to know about their value.
They know what their customers value most: My most successful (fastest growing) clients are the ones who have a clear picture of what their market finds most valuable about their work. They marketthat. They’re constantly engaged in the qualitative insight gathering process I teach, so they never need to guess what to market. They know. Because their customers tell them.
Relentless action: The best marketers market the most. It really is that simple. Marketing requires action, not perfection. It demands execution, not over-thinking. My best clients let people know about their value every single day.
Which of these traits do you possess? Which do you need to improve on?
