You are in business.
You are here.
You would like to there.
Let’s assume for now, that “there” involves some kind of business growth — new customers, or more of them.
What are the factors involved in getting you from here to there?
- An excellent product or service. An improvement, most likely, on your current iteration.
- The right price to value ratio. For most of us, this means that we must add more value.
- Language. Powerful, simple language.
- Platforms. The places from which you’re communicating your language must reach your intended audience. Don’t discount this factor, as it is frequently missed.
- Customer word-of-mouth. You must encourage it.
Now, for the $50,000 question: Which one activity can make you better at every one of the above?
One thing:
Gathering deep, qualitative customer insights.
Talking to your customers and implementing the lessons will improve your product, increase your perceived value, improve your marketing language, leverage the proper platforms, and nourish word-of-mouth marketing.
Are you talking to your customers?
