This is how the US Department of Labor describes Labor Day:
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
So today, take a moment to consider your achievements: for your organization, for your family, and for the improvement of the lives and companies of your customers. Be aware of your contributions to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of your customers and your industry. You make them better.
Allow this knowledge to make you more confident and empowered. And leverage this boldness to shamelessly and relentlessly promote your value to the many people who can benefit from it.
