I’ve been thinking about perseverance lately:

Studies find that perseverance, or grit, has double the impact on success as talent does. That is, the person who tries again — and again — is more successful than the person is who is “better” but not persistent.

The second effort is far more important than the first. And third more important still.

Trust your product and/or service. Trust your great value to your customers. Your customers believe in your value, that’s why they’ve been with you for years, or decades. Do not give up on helping more people more.

No never means no forever. It simply means not at this moment. So give people another moment to say yes.

Trying again habitually, even when you don’t want to, even when it’s uncomfortable (and it often is), even under great pressure, will determine, almost singularly, the size and scope your success.
