The Boldness of Positivity

I am in the final editing stages for my upcoming book The Revenue Growth Habit, and came across the following lines this morning. I provide them here as an excerpt, and a reminder of the incredible value of understanding just how positively your customers perceive you.

When we are regularly exposed to the positive thoughts and feelings of our happy customers, our mindset shifts.

We think less about our products and services and more about how we improve lives and companies.

We think less about what we need to fix and more about the wonderful ways we help our customers.
We think less about imposing and more about adding value.

Further, when we are consistently exposed to what we do well for customers, we become more bold.

And when we are bold, we are more confident.

We take more action. More things get done.

We don’t hesitate to pick up the phone. We never worry about bothering our customers with a call, for they are lucky we have selected them to speak with about the value we bring them.

We don’t fear rejection, because the world is full of prospective customers we can help. If this one says “no” then there are thousands of others who can say “yes.”

When we are bold and confident, we don’t worry, we execute helpful action.
