Today is a special day for me. As an immigrant two-year-old brought here on the backs and dreams of my parents, I am hyperaware of the sacrifices made by those who have fought for us, and who serve us today. I am grateful for their courage, their perseverance, their intelligence, their creativity, their fearlessness, their resolve, their passion, and their strength.

Tomorrow marks the last day of the fifth month of the year. Which means we have approximately 58% of the year remaining to reach our goals and implement our priorities. Let us attack this time with courage, perseverance, intelligence, creativity, fearlessness, resolve, passion and strength.

The men and women who serve us deserve this from us, as do their families who support them, as do our families who support us.

Wishing you and yours a happy, peaceful, rejuvenating Memorial Day.
